The Winchester USA Valor Target Ammunition delivers reliable 20 gauge performance for sporting clays, trap, and high-volume practice. Each 2-3/4″ hull launches 7/8 oz of #7-1/2 lead shot at 1200 fps — a balanced combination that patterns tight at typical target distances without punishing your shoulder through long strings of fire. Winchester chambers these rounds with boxer primers and reloadable plastic hulls, supporting shooters who reload or prefer American-made components.
Load Profile
Winchester loads the USA Valor series for consistent velocity and clean ignition. The 7/8 oz payload sits in the sweet spot for 20 gauge target work — sufficient pellet count for clay engagement without the recoil of heavier 1 oz loads. At 1200 fps muzzle velocity, lead remains on target through standard sporting ranges. The #7-1/2 shot size balances pattern density with individual pellet energy, proven across decades of competitive shooting. Non-corrosive boxer primers allow brass case reuse when you’re ready to roll your own.

Who It’s For
The USA Valor series suits clay shooters running high round counts, youth and smaller-frame shooters managing recoil, and anyone building a practice stockpile with reloadable components. The 7/8 oz payload reduces felt recoil compared to 1 oz loads while maintaining effective pattern density at trap and skeet distances. Reloaders benefit from boxer-primed brass-plated steel heads and reusable plastic hulls. Winchester assembles these rounds in the United States, and a portion of proceeds supports Folds of Honor scholarships for military families.
