For hunters and handgunners running full-power revolvers, the Underwood 44 Remington Magnum 200-grain Nosler Sporting Handgun JHP brings field-tested performance at 1650 feet per second. Nosler engineers this jacketed hollow point with a tapered copper-alloy jacket and form-fitted lead core, hand-inspected and burnished to ensure consistent expansion across hunting distances. Underwood loads each round in nickel-plated brass using flash-suppressed powder, preserving night vision in low-light scenarios and simplifying brass cleanup during reloading.
Built for the Box
Underwood subjects every production lot to real-world testing through consumer firearms — revolvers chambered in 44 Magnum — verifying velocity, pressure, and function before any lot ships. The 200-grain Nosler JHP expands reliably on medium game, and the nickel-plated case resists corrosion from leather holsters, moisture, and long-term storage better than raw brass. Underwood’s Ducta-Bright 7a plating process eliminates the embrittlement historically associated with nickel cases, so reloaders retain full case life without sacrificing the cosmetic and functional benefits of the finish.

Safe Handling & Compliance
Federal law requires purchasers to be at least 18 years old for rifle and shotgun ammunition, and at least 21 for handgun ammunition. Ammunition cannot be shipped to certain states, counties, and cities — review our ammunition shipping restrictions before ordering. Store ammunition in a cool, dry location away from heat sources and out of reach of unauthorized users.
- Always follow the four rules of firearm safety — treat every gun as loaded, keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire, never point at anything you’re not willing to destroy, and know your target and what lies beyond it.
- Verify current state and local ammunition laws before ordering — some jurisdictions restrict hollow-point or high-velocity handgun ammunition.
- This product contains lead, known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects — minimize exposure during handling and clean hands after range sessions.
