PPU’s 7.62x39mm 123-grain PSP load delivers a pointed soft point bullet designed for controlled expansion on medium game while maintaining accuracy at training distances. The 7.62x39mm cartridge, adopted by the Soviet military in 1943, remains one of the world’s most widely fielded intermediate rifle calibers — found in AK-pattern rifles, SKS carbines, and modern bolt-action hunting platforms. This PPU ammunition pairs that Soviet-era ballistic envelope with modern non-corrosive primers and reloadable brass cases, giving you a versatile training and hunting load at a price point suited for high-volume use.
Built for the Box
Prvi Partizan manufactures this ammunition in Serbia using production processes refined since 1928. Each round features a 123-grain pointed soft point projectile — the PSP design uses a partially exposed lead tip to initiate expansion on impact while the copper jacket maintains structural integrity during feeding and flight. Non-corrosive Boxer primers ignite propellant charges metered for consistent velocities, and the brass cases accept standard large rifle primers for reloading. You receive 20 rounds per box, packaged in cardboard with plastic trays to prevent bullet damage during shipping and storage.

Safe Handling & Compliance
Federal law requires purchasers to be at least 18 years old for rifle and shotgun ammunition, and at least 21 for handgun ammunition. Ammunition cannot be shipped to certain states, counties, and cities — review our ammunition shipping restrictions before ordering. Store ammunition in a cool, dry location away from heat sources and out of reach of unauthorized users.
- Observe the four universal firearm safety rules on every range session — treat all firearms as loaded, never point at anything you’re not willing to destroy, keep your finger off the trigger until sights are on target, and identify your target and what lies beyond it.
- Verify that your firearm is chambered in 7.62x39mm before loading — never chamber ammunition in a firearm not marked for that cartridge.
- Store ammunition in factory packaging, away from solvents and moisture. This ammunition contains lead components — wash hands after handling and dispose of spent cases per local regulations.
