The Nosler BT 7mm Remington Magnum ammo pairs a 160 grain Ballistic Tip bullet with premium brass and a powder charge tuned for 3000 feet per second at the muzzle. 7mm Remington Magnum ammo in this configuration delivers 3197 foot-pounds of energy and a 0.531 G1 ballistic coefficient — flat trajectory to 300 yards, reliable expansion on deer-sized game, and enough penetration for quartering shots on elk. The polymer tip resists deformation in the magazine and initiates expansion on impact, while the heavy jacket base prevents core separation at magnum velocities.
Built for the Box
Each Nosler Ballistic Tip bullet uses a uniform pure lead core and a tapered jacket that thickens toward the base. The polycarbonate tip drives expansion by compressing into the hollow point cavity upon impact, opening the bullet from the front while the jacket holds the rear together for weight retention. Nosler’s mid-section crimp and boat-tail base stabilize the projectile in flight. The brass case is dimensionally consistent, Boxer-primed for reloading, and headstamped. Visual inspection of every round prior to packaging catches manufacturing anomalies before they leave the plant.

Safe Handling & Compliance
Federal law requires purchasers to be at least 18 years old for rifle and shotgun ammunition, and at least 21 for handgun ammunition. Ammunition cannot be shipped to certain states, counties, and cities — review our ammunition shipping restrictions before ordering. Store ammunition in a cool, dry location away from heat sources and out of reach of unauthorized users.
- Follow the four universal rules of firearm safety at all times — treat every firearm as if loaded, never point at anything you are not willing to destroy, keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire, and be certain of your target and what lies beyond it.
- Verify that your state and local jurisdiction allow purchase and possession of this ammunition type before ordering.
- This product contains lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm under Proposition 65. Practice proper hygiene after handling ammunition and wash hands before eating.
