Tatted Tacticals is a federally licensed firearms dealer based in Burley, Idaho, serving customers in all 50 states. Founded in 2017 by U.S. Army veteran Jake Terry, the company built its reputation on three things: deep product knowledge, strict compliance, and direct customer service from people who actually shoot. Today we ship firearms, ammunition, optics, suppressors, triggers, and tactical accessories to homes, ranges, and FFL transfer dealers across the country — with zero diverted lots and a written safety review on every product page.

The Origin

Jake Terry started Tatted Tacticals in 2017 after years working the counter for other FFL dealers. He kept seeing the same problem: online firearms pages written by people who had never handled the product, with safety and compliance details buried or wrong. Whether it was a magazine capacity restriction, a hazmat shipping rule, or a basic chamber-pressure spec, the customer was the one paying for the mistake.

The fix was to do it himself. Build a dealer where every product page is reviewed by an FFL holder, every shipment is compliant with state and federal law, and every customer email gets a real answer from someone who knows what they’re talking about. Eight years later, that’s still how the business runs.

Our Credentials

• FFL07 / SOT3 — Federally licensed firearms manufacturer with Special Occupational Tax Class 3 authorization for NFA items (suppressors, short-barrel rifles, and similar regulated items). License on file with the ATF; we handle every transfer in full compliance.
• U.S. Army Veteran-Owned — Founder Jake Terry served honorably before transitioning to the firearms industry. Veteran-owned isn’t a marketing tag; it’s the foundation of how the business operates.

What We Sell

Our catalog covers the four pillars of personal defense and sport shooting:

• Ammunition — Over 3,000 SKUs across every common centerfire and rimfire caliber: 9mm, 5.56, .308, .22 LR, 12 gauge, 30-06, 6.5 Creedmoor, 300 Win Mag, .357 Magnum, .45 ACP, 7.62×39, and over 130 more. Specialty loads include subsonic, frangible, match-grade, and law enforcement.
• Firearms — Handguns, rifles, shotguns, and specialty platforms from premium manufacturers. Every transfer ships to your local FFL for in-person background check and pickup.
• Tactical Accessories — Optics (red dots, LPVOs, thermal), holsters, slings, magazines, knives, lights, and EDC gear. We carry Trijicon, Aimpoint, Holosun, Vortex, Geissele, and other field-proven brands.

Where We Ship From and Where We Ship

Our warehouse is located in Burley, Idaho. Orders ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS within 1-2 business days of order placement. Ammunition ships ground-only by federal hazmat regulation. Firearms ship to your selected FFL transfer dealer under federal law.

We ship to all 50 states, with strict adherence to state-specific restrictions on magazines, calibers, and configurations. California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, DC, and Illinois all have specific restrictions we honor automatically at checkout. We do not export internationally — federal law and ITAR regulations restrict the shipment of firearms, ammunition, and certain tactical accessories abroad without licensing we do not provide.

Every product page on this site is reviewed by an FFL holder. Every shipment follows ATF regulations and state law. Every employee handling firearms or ammunition is properly trained and authorized.
